Would the simplicity the new cool on the red carpet of Cannes? The hair trend that emerges this year might suggest. But despite its simplicity of implementation, this
beauty treatment is an undeniable sophistication. Gathered in a bun, hair nicely akin to that of a ballet dancer (with all the elegance that implies).
Dropped and smoothed hair, the look is glamorous in the extreme, almost sexy. Evidence that to get noticed on the red carpet, it is not necessarily very useful to take the lead. A very smooth brushing, lacquer or a touch of glossy gel to shine, and a brush, that’s it.
In the shadow of plated this year, there is a trend that resists again and again: the wavy hair. Highlighted by Blake Lively or Julia Roberts (who has mounted the steps of Cannes for the first time), this hairstyle has reinvented itself to always remain ultra-feminine and modern at once.
